Ask Buddie - A Giant tech community in Nepal.
Ask Buddie is a technology community found in May 16, 2017. Since our founding, we have been providing online solutions and guidance to our users related to technology. Our mission is to create a large community of technology enthusiast people to provide support in less time. We are based in Nepal.

Ask Buddie is the Leading tech group in Nepal. The group is working from the Facebook platform. So, here is how it works. Usually when you are in trouble you ask Google or siri but you can't express your exact problem. In this group you just need to post your query, problem or question & you can get your solution within few minutes. The group is full of Tech Enthusiasts & experienced members. The group has 14 moderators who looks after the activity, post and planning for meetups.
Ask Buddie also encourage people to enhance their skills providing different platforms such as open source and different kind of regular projects.
Open Source Program
Apart from helping people to solve their problem. We have an open source program, where people can contribute in different ways. If you are developer, designer, security analyst, entrepreneur or anyone you can contribute on our program. We will fill the gap between people with different skills and encourage them to work together for better output.
History
It started from Facebook group. We have active Facebook group with members more than 1000 and counting. We have members from different locations and most of the people are active. The Facebook community was named as “Tech Room Reload” in the beginning and changed to “Ask Buddie” later.
Events:
Ask Buddie organizes events & meetups for discussion on different queries live. Few months ago a meetup was held on New Summit College, Kathmandu where many members of Ask Buddie participated.
Apart from these Ask Buddie also provides information about technology around the world through its page. Recently, the community has informed its members about the events of Everest Hackathon and AI Expo.
Web Hosting:
Ask Buddie has also collaborated with the web hosting provider BuddieHost to provide a cheap and reliable hosting solution for the community members with direct contact with the hosting owner. It also distributed free web hosting to the members who were enthusiastic about blogging but didn’t have capital.
